Rogue Legacy 2 could be described as a genetic Rogue LITE. It comes with the usual characteristics of a Rogue-like including random runs, as well as switching characters. However, it comes with persistent upgrades and permanent dead heirs. It’s a game where the grind isn’t necessary. If you play well, you’ll be able to plunge deeper into the mysteries of the constantly changing world. Or don’t! The choice is yours! By combining hardcore platforms with a deep RPG strategy, anyone can win ultimately.

Rogue Legacy 2:
A procedurally generated adventure. The entire world changes in each life cycle, which means there are no two adventures that are exactly identical.
Rogue-LITE. Rogue-LITE. You can beat the game on the first level, but it’s not required to.
Universal Healthcare. Each child’s situation is unique. Some children may be suffering from Synethesia while another might be pacifist or just a bit fat. Socialism offers you bonus gold points when you have traits that cause higher debilitating consequences than regular gameplay.
Castle Permanence. This is a rebel-like place where bosses are dead.
Every class comes with its individual set of weapons. has their own distinct arsenal. You can take on enemies from far by bowing as the agile Ranger or go up close using the huge Battleaxe to become the Barbarian.
Stack Runes. Runes can now stack to infinite. Though it’ll take some time, it will be possible to attain penta-jump and lifesteal.
