looked around the city. Dakota
City would take a awhile to rebuild, but it would come back, the
governor told us. Robin held my hand. Dont worry, you helped as
much as you could. Talon did what she did, he said while stroking
my cheek. I turned away, just looking at the city again. Robin
grabbed my shoulder, wanting to know what was wrong. He was trying to
help me, reach out to me, but I was resisting. I told him I didnt
want to. He just came back stronger, wanting to know. I still
refused. Finally he let go, knowing that the girl he loved wasnt
going to tell him anything. Images flashed back and forth in my mind.
The death of my mother, becoming a superhero, finding my true father
and fulling my life dreams, to Talon safirce. I turned around, ready
to tell him. He sat down on a piece of rubble, ready for my story. I
sat across from him. And so my story begins…
